The tram stops at Selmeci Street and Szent Margit Hospital were completed at the end of 2020. As a result, the platforms have been made accessible for wheelchair users – and easier to access with prams – while tactile paving will ease the commutes of the visually impaired – reports the Budapest Transport Centre.
Ramps have been added to the platforms, which have been adjusted to the height of the low-floor CAR Urbos trams that serve the lines, making them 36 meters long and 26 centimetres high.
Beyond changes made to the platforms and pedestrian crossing public utility lines were also modernised, and a line of trees alongside the tracks.
The project was funded by the Budapest City Council and completed by Colas Alterra Zrt. Development began on 27 July 2020 and cost 259 million HUF.

However, it commemorates their predecessors, the heroes who fought for their country in World War I, and those who heroically helped them. The first design of the dramatically collapsing soldier was born in 1928, ninety-five years ago.
