Fiumei road National Cemetery

The grave monument of Mihály Munkácsy in the Fiumei Road Cemetery to be renewed The tomb of Mihály Munkácsy, a creation of Ede Telcs, which is located in the Fiumei Road Cemetery and protected as a monument, is being renovated. According to the plans, the works will be completed by spring, and the renovated grave will be inaugurated on 9 May 2023, the 123rd anniversary of the painter's death.
Candle lighting at the graves of our national greats in the Fiumei Road Cemetery In the Fiumei Road Cemetery, on 1 November, candles are provided for all those who wish to remember our national greats who rest in the cemetery. Visitors can also participate in a celebratory mass.
A memorial plaque was unveiled in honor of Anna Jókai in the tomb garden on Fiumei road On the fifth anniversary of Anna Jókai's death, the National Heritage Institute inaugurated a memorial plaque in the tomb garden on Fiumei road. Not only a plaque at the national memorial site, but now the square at the main entrance preserves the name of the writer born ninety years ago, who was the first chairman of the National Mercy Committee.
