A community garden will be set up in Újpest on the site of an unused sports field bordered by Tavasz, Nyár and Viola streets. In addition to forty beds and fruit bushes, plans include building a garden house and a shady sandpit for children.
First housing blocks in Újpalota completed 50 years ago

One of the largest housing estates in Budapest can be found in Újpalota, the first apartment of which was completed over 50 years ago, in the spring of 1971. 12,752 apartments were planned originally, but 15,500 were completed by the second half of the 1970s. An average of 5 people lived in each of the 15th District's prefabricated flats.

An exhibition was opened in János Neumann's former school, the Fasori Lutheran Secondary School, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the world-famous mathematician's birth. In the exhibition presenting the former Neumann milieu, paintings, graphics, photos, furniture, and objects tell the story of the art-supporting spirit of the noble bourgeois family at the turn of the century.
