The Buda side of the capital, with its wonderful landscapes and fresh air, is still very attractive today, and it was like this even in the first half of the last century. Many people from Pest, which became especially crowded after the Treaty of Trianon, moved to the other side of the Danube and from the beginning of the thirties, they built modern-style villas on the hillsides. Pestbuda now presents two of them below, into which their residents moved ninety years ago.

The design renders of the new campus of the Corvinus University of Budapest, which is already under construction in the 11th District, were presented. In the new university centre located at the junction of Ménesi Road and Mányoki Road, in addition to the educational buildings, innovation and community spaces will also play an important role, a 180-bed dormitory is being built, and an 11,000 square metre park will also serve the students' comfort. The new campus will be handed over next autumn.
The Ménesi road campus of Corvinus University is being demolished

It can be clearly seen from the bank of the Danube in Pest that the Corvinus University Ménesi road campus is being demolished. A new university building will be built in its place, but the area is planned to remain an integral part of the city fabric. In the new building, which is expected to be completed next year, educational and research spaces, a dormitory, professor's apartments, community and representation rooms, as well as rooms suitable for sports and recreation will be established.
