Mari Törőcsik lived in Vincellér Street, according to her statements, she loved the area very much, including the surroundings of the Bottomless Lake. He was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Újbuda in 2016, and now a public space is named after her.

The residents of Újbuda can decide which public area to be renamed in their honor by voting. There are four possible locations to be named after Mari Törőcsik: Etele Square, Independence Park, Etele Park, Area around Bottomless Lake.

Mari Törőcsik, an actor of the Nation and the Artist of the Nation, was a three-time Kossuth and two-time Jászai and Balázs Béla Prize-winning actress, a worthy and excellent artist, and an inherited member of the Society of the Immortals.

The votes can be cast here by the people of Újbuda.
