Alajos Hauszmann, who was born 175 years ago, is remembered on Thursday at the tomb in Fiumei road. He was the designer of the expansion and reconstruction of the Royal Mansion in Kossuth Square, the New York Palace, the main building of the Technical University, and the Royal Palace, but many public buildings, private houses and villas in Budapest were designed according to his plans.
