New information boards to help visitors at the most crowded points of Buda Castle

A total of ten new information boards have been set up in Buda Castle at locations such as the renovated Matthias Fountain, the Savoyai Terrace, the Raven Gate, and Szent György ('Saint Geroge') Square and the Maria lift.

New information boards have been placed at the busiest points of Buda Castle, the National Hauszmann Program announced on one of its social media pages. The boards help visitors explore this historic part of Budapest.

The boards highlight major sights, museums, restaurants, public toilets, lifts and parking areas. Iconic landmarks only just rebuilt as part of the National Hauszmann Program are also listed, such as the Main Guardhouse and the Riding Hall.

The signs are written in Hungarian and English, as tourists from home and abroad are expected after the epidemic. A total of 10 boards have been erected around the Buda Castle district, which is currently undergoing extensive renovation.

The renovated Angyalföld Reformed Church was handed over

On 26 March, the renovated Frangepán Street Reformed Church was handed over. The 13th District church was built in 1933, the tower was restored in 2017, and the roof and facade were renovated last year. By the time of the ceremonial handover, the building had completely recovered its form ninety years ago.

A musical smart bench was handed over in City Park
