On Sunday, 22 May, the new St. László Community House was ceremoniously handed over in the 12th district in Istenhegy - it turns out from the news of MTI. In addition to Péter Erdő, Archbishop and Cardinal of Esztergom-Budapest, former President of the Republic and his wife, Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister and his wife, Miklós Kásler, Minister of Human Resources, and Miklós Soltész, Minister of State for Ecclesiastical and Ethnic Relations, attended the handover ceremony.

The newly handed over St. Ladislaus Community House was designed by Dániel Taraczky in Diana Street, in the garden of the parish church. The cornerstone of the 600-square-foot, two-story house was laid two years ago. As can be seen from the side of the community house, their 150-seat function room is equipped with a projection screen and a modern sound system, so they can accommodate any performance, concert or film screening.

With the handover of the new community house, the congregation of St. László Parish was able to realize its two old dreams, as they also managed to hand over the Catholic kindergarten last autumn. The St. Ladislaus Community House was built with church and state support.
