The MTI reports that the new 1400 square metre sports hall of Szent Margit Secondary School has been completed. The project cost 2,5 billion HUF, including all landscaping work.

A pile wall supports the earth around the structure, meaning its northern end is completely underground.  The main hall of the building houses a traditional basketball court but can be divided with a retractable hanging wall. The roof of the building is also a rubber-coated hand-ball court. Beyond physical education lessons, the hall will also be an events venue.

Szent Margit Secondary School was founded in 1920 and stands at the foot of Gellért Hill on Villányi Road. It is currently maintained by the Hungarian Province of the Sisters of the Divine Savior. The school's building is a historical monument and was designed by the famous architect Gáspár Fábián in 1930 and constructed in 1932–33.
