The new buildings of the MOME campus were completed in three phases between 2014 and 2019 on Zugligeti Road. In the first phase, Műhelyház ('Workshop House') was built between 2014–2016. The Média- és Műteremház ('Media and Studio House') was completed in the second phase, between 2016–2018.

In the third phase, the university campus was expanded with five buildings – the Innovation Center, MOME Ground, the Master Building, the Base Building, and Gondűző ('regaling') – and the park. The buildings opened in 2019. The international award recognised these buildings, designed by 3h Építésziroda Kft. – reads the summary on the university's website.

The MOME Campus building complex won the Golden Award in the category of Architecture, Building and Structural Design at the A'Design Awards. The prestigious competition awards works that are characterised by outstanding design, technological innovation and ingenuity.

The aim of the campus development implemented following a government decree was to create a community space that serves the interests of students and teachers and those living in the area and wider Budapest. That is why a public park was created around the university, open to everyone with much more green space than before.
