This year, the construction of a multifunctional recreation park on the banks of the Danube in Pünkösdfürd began, and gardening work is underway in the area. 18 October, the landscaping reached a spectacular stage: in the morning, the first of the nine large trees that will adorn the Pünkösdfürdő Park was planted, according to the Főkert Facebook page.

As they write, the so-called old tree transplantation requires a special machine, which alone lifts the tree from its original location (in this case from the Keresztúr Road site), transports it and replaces it to its new location, all in a very short time.

According to the announcement, the oak planted on 18 October - roughly 7-8 meters tall and nearly 25 years old - will be followed by three similarly sized lindens, two ornamental cherries and three hazelnuts over the next two weeks.

We previously reported that a multifunctional recreation park will be built in the 3rd district, on the banks of the Danube in Pünkösdfürdő, where promenades, playgrounds and sports fields are also established.
