The first visual plans for the Budapest Airport Arena in Pestszetlőrinc are public. During the investment, with the expansion of the old sports hall, a hall with a capacity of 1,000 people will be built, which will also be available to students from the surrounding schools.

The cornerstone of the new, state-of-the-art sports hall was laid in May 2019 in the 18th district. The multifunctional handball hall is designed for 1,000 visitors, which makes it suitable for domestic and international sporting events, community and entertainment events, conferences and concerts.

The visual designs were published today in the 18th century. district municipality, and a picture of their current condition was taken.

As written, the arena will be built on the site of the old Lőrinc sports hall, which was handed over in 1977, with its expansion. Thus, the 2,862-square-foot hall will be two-story, with a total floor area of 4,701 square feet. The facility will be equipped with a barrier-free elevator, a grandstand, intermediary jobs, a multifunctional gym, a conference room, changing rooms, a kneading room, offices, a club room, sports facilities, restrooms and a buffet.

The building also meets the latest environmental standards and will be extremely safe in terms of fire protection, while being expected to be economical and easy to operate.

The Arena is made from the TAO support won by the PLER handball team, a significant part of the approximately HUF 2.1 billion investment was accounted for by Budapest Airport. The investment is managed by Urban Rehabilitation18.
