Approximately 2,700 cubic meters of illegally deposited construction debris was transported from the plateau to the FKF Pusztazámor waste treatment center after laboratory tests in accordance with the regulations. It was made more difficult to collect debris by growing dense, alien vegetation over the years. The task was also complicated by the fact that the work could only be started in the winter when the ground was frozen. In addition, the trucks were only allowed to travel on a route designated by experts in the Main Garden to conserve the habitats that is home to many protected plant and animal species, they wrote.

A large amount of scattered rubbish was found near Kamaraerdei road, after which new piles of rubbish appeared. To prevent further littering, the staff of the Main Garden scattered the area before the holidays with signs. The public has already been informed in accordance with the regulations.

Part of the debris is still in the area, and its removal continues, along with recultivation of the routes used by the implements. BKM asked the people of Budapest to help protect the environment and not to dispose of waste in non-reserved areas, as it violates the law, deteriorates the cityscape, distorts natural habitats and can be a serious environmental and health problem.
