There have been many requests from the residents and non-governmental organizations of Csepel to the local government to continue the green development of the Little Danube bank and to renovate the site of the former Youth Camp at 8 Hollandi road, Mayor Lénárd Borbély on the said district's Facebook page about the planned 21st district development.

The local council has therefore decided to renovate the camp in question through community planning and to create a waterfront recreation, sports and leisure park to meet all needs. The park is currently completely deserted, with rusty furniture and incomplete, ruined pavement in its area.

The mayor emphasizes that a leisure park will be established that the district can be proud of and that will benefit the people of Csepel in everything.

Lénárd Borbély reminded that the Day Care Camp in Csepel, which was handed over last year, is also very important for families, as it provides help to parents in the summer. As is well known, the local government of Csepel bought back the plot of the Kis-Danube shore of Napközis Tábor on Hollandi road in 2016, which in 2007 became the property of a private company from the then district management.

A public forum on the planned development was also held recently. Many people made these suggestions, and the people of Csepel also suggested the construction of a bicycle rental, a forest study trail and an adventure track. Several asked that the core function of the venue remain the camp. The mayor said that this is partly part of the local council's plans, but that multi-storey buildings will not be erected on the site.

The local council has also published a questionnaire, by filling which the residents of Csepel can suggest what the revitalized park should be along the banks of the Kis-Danube, for example, whether the area should be connected to the György Kolonics promenade. Once the answers have been received, the local council prepares a concept plan, which can be commented on by the people of Csepel.
