The building of the Márton Áron Vocational College of the Eötvös Loránd University was renovated in the 3rd district 35 Kunigunda road, during the HUF 5 billion investment, the 518-seat property was modernized and accessible spaces were created.

In connection with the handover, Minister of Innovation and Technology László Palkovics called the colleges an important element of university education, which also provides learning, community and cultural opportunities. The Minister recalled that in 2016 a decision was made on the university integration of the Márton Áron Vocational College, the institution was placed under the asset management of ELTE, which convinced the government to renovate the institution for about HUF 15 billion. The first element of this was the tidying up of the Budapest dormitory.

László Borhy, the rector of the university, said that as one of the value-preserving and value-creating centers of Hungarian intellectual life, it is essential to provide conditions that make the dormitory competitive with other accommodation options. He stressed that students are the most important, "their education, their development is the key to our future."

In addition to education, he called it essential to provide modern and comfortable accommodation for students during their university years. He pointed out that many people break away from their families, starting their university years, starting their own lives.

Gyula Scheuer, Chancellor of Eötvös Loránd University, spoke about the fact that in recent years all EHEA colleges have undergone improvements, most of them undergoing mechanical and energy renovations, which save the institution hundreds of millions a year, and the importance of environmental investments.

In connection with Áron Márton Vocational College, he emphasized that family-friendly rooms have also been set up in the institution, in the second phase of the investment there will be developments promoting sports and community life, and a stage will also be built.
