A cave was found in the capitals 2nd district, on Alsó Törökvész road, MTI said, citing the district mayor's Facebook page. According to Gergely Őrsi, a public announcement was received that the “cobblestone” surface in front of the garage entrances had sunk on a section of Alsó Törökvész road. Shortly afterwards, a descent was also observed at the sidewalk along the road.

They began the usual demolition at that time, but it soon became clear that it was not a simple descent, as fissures and with it a cave were found. With the help of volunteers, the exploration began. According to an entry on 27 May, it became official that a cave had been found. Further information on developments was promised.

A Pestbuda employee visited the site on Friday afternoon. He found the affected area surrounded, but neither cavers nor construction workers worked at the cave found on Lower Turkish Road yesterday.
