The renewal of Margaret Boulevard will start soon, the 2nd district local council said. During the works, 3248 perennial and 1970 bulbous plants are planned to be planted on even sides of the road, and at least a dozen new trees will be planted in the affected area. Tree planting will use methods that have been proven elsewhere to protect underground utilities.

In addition to the rehabilitation of the green belt, the asphalt will be replaced by paving in the area, so it will be easier to repair the utilities with less dust and noise later on. Another plan is to issue a tender for the cleaning of the facades of the stone-paved houses on Margit Boulevard. In addition, the district government is formulating corporate identity guidelines for business owners to make store portals better suited to the style of the buildings.

The investment was implemented by the district local council.
