The interest in the first reconstructed room of Buda Palace, St. Stephen's Hall, which was handed over last year, and the related exhibition is still unbroken and has already been viewed by more than 100,000 people. The popular captain of the Hungarian national football team, Marco Rossi, also visited St. Stephen's Hall, he was the 100,324th visitor - read the press release of the Castle Headquarters sent to our newspaper.

The Italian football player, coach and captain had previously visited the Buda Castle several times, but it was only now that he saw the reborn St. Stephen's Hall for the first time, which he found fascinating. He believed that his wife would also like the sight of the meticulously crafted Zsolnay fireplace, the curtains of Italian masters or the unique parquet flooring, the Castle Headquarters informed.

The captain also revealed that he visited the Buda Castle District for the first time with his wife and he was filled with a pleasant feeling when he saw the outline of the Puskás Arena from the Castle. The visit was immortalised by a commemorative certificate, which Bence Madaras, the Managing Director of the Castle Headquarters, handed over to the national team captain, read the press release.

The historical premises destroyed in World War II were reborn as part of the National Hauszmann Program, based on the original plans, and can be visited by the public from 20 August 2021.
